Earl Grey Goat Milk Tea Recipe
Ingredients:
- 200 ml hot water
- 5 g Earl Grey tea
- 200 ml goat milk (you can add 50 ml cow's milk if desired)
- 15 ml honey
- 100 g ice cubes
- 0.5 g rose salt
- 50 g tea jelly (optional)
- 1 cinnamon stick (for garnish)
Instructions:
Step 1: Brew the Tea
Start by placing 5 grams of Earl Grey tea into a tea bag or a teapot. Pour in 200 ml of hot water at 90°C (194°F) and let it steep for 3 minutes. After steeping, strain out the tea leaves and set the brewed tea aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Goat Milk Mixture
In a shaker or a small saucepan, combine 200 ml of goat milk (and 50 ml of cow's milk if you like), honey, and rose salt. Goat milk adds a unique flavor that pairs beautifully with Earl Grey tea.
Step 3: Chill the Drink
If you’re making a cold tea recipe, add ice to the goat milk mixture and shake well for about 15 seconds. Pour this mixture into a glass, then gently add the brewed Earl Grey tea on top. Stir lightly to combine.
Optional Step: Add Tea Jelly
For an extra touch, you can layer some tea jelly at the bottom of the glass before adding the goat milk and tea mixture. This adds a delightful texture to your cold tea recipes.
Garnish
If you want to elevate the presentation, you can top the drink with a small amount of whipped goat milk (optional) and insert a cinnamon stick for added aroma and visual appeal.
